"Devotional Song Recital" Organized to Mark Poson Poya
Under the guidance of the Divisional Secretary of Yatiyantota, Mrs. D. Anoma Dissanayake, and the Assistant Divisional Secretary, Mrs. Nadeeshani K. Weragala, the Cultural Affairs Division, the Social Services Division, and the Saviya Swashakthi Organization jointly organized a "Devotional Song Recital" in conjunction with the Poson Full Moon Poya Day. The event was successfully held (08) at the auditorium of the Yatiyantota Divisional Secretariat.
The programme featured devotional songs performed by officers of the Divisional Secretariat and members of the Saviya Swashakthi Organization. It served as a meaningful occasion to commemorate the spiritual significance of Poson Poya while promoting devotion, harmony, and unity among the participants.
We extend our sincere appreciation to all the officers, organizers, participants, and everyone who contributed to the successful organization of this programme.
History of Yatiyanthota Divisional Secretariat
This area is controled by Meedeniya Adikaram and it was Situated in King Seethawaka Rajasinghe era.After that ,at 1944 under the british empirement this are had been divided in to 11 Division.those areas were belongs to Dehigampal Korale and Patha Bulathgama .
After the long time this gammuladeni Position Transfered to Grama Niladari Division not only that Divisional revenue Office turned to the Divisional Secretariat.in this period those 11 Division of the area Improved as GN Division up to 50.
After Change the Kachcheri System at 1992 the sub Secretary transfered as Divisional Secretariat and Assistant Govenment Agent became as Divisional secretary .
At 2000 the Yatiyanthota Divisional Secretariat was divided in to 32 GN Divisions .
A tree planting programme and a shramdaan program to mark the World Environment Day....
Under the guidance of Mrs. D. Anoma Dissanayake, Divisional Secretary of Yatiyantota and Mrs. Nadeeshani K. Weragala, Assistant Divisional Secretary, a tree planting program and a shramdaan program organized to mark the World Environment Day was held today (05th) with the participation of the office officials centering the proposed International Buddhist Green Town at Kadukele, Yatiyantota.
Officials including the Thera of Polonnaruwa Samitha Thero participated in this event and a number of plants of ecological value were donated to the earth.

දෙදහස් පන්සිය හැත්තෑවන වෛශාඛ්ය මංගල්යය වෙනුවෙන් යටියන්තොට ප්රාදේශීය ලේකම් ඩී අනෝමා දිසානායක මැතිණිය , සහකාර ප්රාදේශීය ලේකම් නදීශානි කේ වේරගල මැතිණිය ,පරිපාලන නිලධාරීතුමා සහ පරිපාලන ග්රාම නිලධාරීතුමන්ගේ මගපෙන්වීමෙන් බෞද්ධ කටයුතු හා සංස්කෘතික අංශය සහෝදර නිලධාරීන් සමග එක්ව වෙසක් සතිය මුල්කරගනිමින් යටියන්තොට කොට්ඨාසය තුළ වැඩසටහන් රැසක් ක්රියාත්මක කරනු ලැබේ.
ඒ අනුව 2026.05.27 දින යටියන්තොට සිරි ධම්මජෝති පෙර පාසලේ දරුවන් සිල් සමාදන් කරවීම සිදුකරන ලදී. එමෙන්ම එහි විශේෂ වැඩසටහනක් ලෙස කාර්යාලයීය නිලධාරීන්ගේ සීල සමාදාන වැඩසටහනක් 2026.05.29 කාර්යාලයීය ශ්රවණාගාරයේදී සිදුකරන ලදී.
* සිල් සමාදන් කරවීම - යටියන්තොට නන්දාරාම විහාරාධිකාරී පූජ්ය පොළොන්නරුවේ සමිත ස්වාමීන් වහන්සේ
* භාවනා වැඩසටහන - පූජ්ය කැප්පෙටිපොළ විමලතිස්ස ස්වාමීන් වහන්සේ
* කාව්යමය ධර්ම දේශනය - සමථ නිලධාරී ජයන්ත මයා
*ධර්ම සාකච්ජාව - පූජ්ය පොළොන්නරුවේ සමිත ස්වාමීන් වහන්සේ /ප්රජා සවිබල ගැන්වීමේ නිලධාරී සමන් මයා සහ සාලින්ද මයා.
*ධර්ම දේශනය - පූජ්ය විල්ගමුවේ රතනසාර ස්වාමීන් වහන්සේ
එමෙන්ම මීට සමගාමීව කාර්යාල පරිශ්රය අලංකාරවත් සැරසිලි යොදාගනිමින් ආලෝකමත් කිරීම ද කාර්යාල නිලධාරීන් විසින් සිදුකරන ලදී.
