Under the guidance of Mrs. D. Anoma Dissanayake, Divisional Secretary of Yatiyantota and Mrs. Nadeeshani K. Weragala, Assistant Divisional Secretary, a tree planting program and a shramdaan program organized to mark the World Environment Day was held today (05th) with the participation of the office officials centering the proposed International Buddhist Green Town at Kadukele, Yatiyantota.
Officials including the Thera of Polonnaruwa Samitha Thero participated in this event and a number of plants of ecological value were donated to the earth.
